It is a kind of extreme photography. Although animals can be the nicest models for a photographer they can be also very tricky. Although I would put the patience, on the top of the success list, I have to put a bit of luck over it. Usually, animals are in the wrong place or doing something unpredicted. A photographer must wait for the right moment and continuously adjust the camera for a potential picture moment. A photographer must also take care of what is lying behind the animal. The background is as important as the subject so changing the position and adjusting the zoom is a continuous process.
